Before and after images of pool stains
The images below show pools that have had stains removed with our treatment without draining the pool or acid washing. Also, our clients did not have the additional costs of refilling the pool or adding new chemicals after an acid wash. Importantly, all images shown in this gallery are completely untouched and unedited. In fact, most of the before and after images have come from our clients who have used one of our kits.
1. Heavy iron staining

This fibreglass pool has very heavy metal staining that has completely covered the surface of the pool. So, before calling us, our client made many attempts to remove this stain.

Six days following our treatment the pool now looks almost as good as. The metals have been since removed from the water to prevent the stain from recurring.
2. Black metal staining

Following some very poor advice from the pool shop, this customer shock chlorinated his pool which left a black metal stain all over the pool.

3. Dark copper staining
Before treatment
This 35-year-old fibreglass pool in Newcastle had significant metal fallout occur after a period of poor water maintenance. The chlorine-free system uses suspended metals (copper and silver) as the sanitisers. Remember, when the water is not maintained these metals precipitate and plate the walls and floor in black metal.

4. Rust stains

This fibreglass pool had a metal ring fall on the step and sit there for a period of time. So, the stain left behind was quite dark and stubborn.

After following the directions in our stain removal kit this customer was able to remove the stain almost overnight.
5. Metals in suspension
Before treatment
This pool in Northern NSW had very heavy metal staining along with a large volume of suspended metals in the water. These metals were so densely concentrated that the water had turned black.

After the Culator treatment had been added to the pool the water completely cleared within 30 hours. The suspended metals were trapped and then permanently removed so the problem could never return
6. Copper and iron stains

This customer had a light blue pool that had a strong copper and iron buildup on the surface. The stain had been evident for 4 years.

30 Minutes after our treatment process the copper and iron was dissolved into the water and the original surface was restored. We also add a polymer compound so the stains do not return later.
7. Black spot algae

This pebblecrete pool continued to battle black spot within the pebble surface. The client could remove some of them with a wire brush but within a few days, they would return again.

She pool shop told her that it needed to be drained and acid washed to remove the black spot at a cost of nearly $1,100. Our $295 treatment completely removed it and also kept it gone – something acid washing cannot do.
8. Green Phosphate Staining

This client had persistent green staining on their white tiles that looked a lot like algae but would not break down with chlorine and scrubbing. They tried for several months to remove it thinking it was algae.

But, after our stain treatment was added to the pool the phosphorous material that had shielded the staining had completely dissolved away. This restored the white finish of the pool within 6 hours.
9. Chemical Reaction Staining

This old fibreglass swimming pool had rare purple staining just below the coping tiles. In short, it had been visible for over 4 years. Copper and mineral precipitation on the surface caused the staining.

Our client had spent almost $1,500 trying treatments to try and fix the stain. He even went to 3 different pool shops for advice. Our products removed the stain in less than 2 hours. Meanwhile, this client is still mad at his pool shop.
10. Copper stains

The copper sulfate staining on these pool steps could not be brushed away, even with a wire brush and retail stain removers.

It took less than 10 days for our product to dissolve this stain once it was added to the pool. Our very happy client sent us these before and after images. They could not believe it worked without draining the pool.
11. Mineral based salt stains

After accidentally adding a mineral based salt to her non-mineral swimming pool, our distraught customer witnessed her pool transform from bright blue to shades of brown within 4 hours. To fix the problem she then used a leading stain removal product from her local pool shop which actually made the stains even worse!

When we arrived our technician treated the pool with our mineral stain compound. To her surprise, less than 30 minutes after adding the treatment almost all of the stains had completely disappeared. Our customer was truly delighted to have her pool interior back to normal once again.
11a. Salt Stains In Pebble Pool.

Our client was unlucky enough to get a heavily contaminated bag of pool salt from a large hardware store. The day after adding the salt her pool looked terrible,

In desperation, she used one of our stain treatment kits on her pool. After 6 days she sent us these images showing the difference that our treatment had made to her pool. She was thrilled.
12. Metal stains

Our client (Peter) in Sydney had recently paid $8,000 to have his old pool resurfaced with new fibreglass. After a few weeks the strange brown shape (which looks like a shadow) appeared in his pool. The stain was caused from poorly applied top coat which was now attracting metals.

Peter was delighted when the weird shape dissappeared and also the general staining around the pool within 3 weeks after our visit. To his delight, Peter’s pool now looks as good as new and sent us these images.
13. Mineral stains

Tim from Perth mistakenly added a full bag of mineral salts to his standard salt water pool. A few hours later, Tim was shocked to see that a very large stain had appeared where the mineral salt had been left to dissolve on the steps.

14. Leaf stains

This public pool had leaves sitting at the bottom for 6 months. Even scrubbing with a metal brush and chlorine would not remove the staining.

15. Embedded rust and varnish stains

A patio extension left literally hundreds of nail and timber varnish stains scattered all over this 4 year old Quartzon pool. These stains had embedded deep into the pool surface.

17. Black spot algae

This client in Victoria had been battling black spot algae for more than 3 years. No matter what process was followed it always returned within 6 weeks.

18. White Calcium on Fibreglass Pool

Robert from Tapping in WA had a hard white build-up on his new fibreglass pool that would not brush away. He had tried several products from the pool shop before calling us.

18a. White Calcium on Fibreglass Waterline

This client had a fibreglass pool that slowly developed a white film around the waterline of the pool. They purchased a calcium kit from us to see if they could remove it.

19. Copper stains

This vinyl lined pool had a very heavy copper precipitation that had covered the entire pool. This was caused from a malfunction in their ironizer system and they were told they would need a new $3,500 liner.

Within 3 weeks of applying our copper stain treatment kit, the copper had completely dissolved from this vinyl surface. In short, they restored the pool for less than $300 and didn’t need to drain the pool.
20. Iron stains

This vinyl lined pool in Sydney had a very heavy iron stain that had been present for more than three years. Also, the liner was nearly 10 years old and was starting to fade.

Within two hours of applying our metal stain treatment to the pool the iron dissolved away restoring the look and original colour of the liner. Our client was thrilled with the result.
21. Algae stains

Our algaecide treatment removed almost all of the recurring algae from this pool step in less than four hours. This client had been battling it for more than a year.

No matter what the client did the algae kept returning within a few weeks of trying to remove it. The client was thrilled that after 5 months the algae has still not retuned.
22. Rust stain on fibreglass pool

This client has a 30 year old fibreglass pool that was stained 5 years ago by metal objects. Despite their best efforts, nothing they tried would remove the stain.

Within 4 hours the rust stain kit had removed the staining leaving only the slightest trace. The client was thrilled with the result.
23. Calcium build up

This hard calcium build-up had been present for 5 years in this concrete pool. The calcium stains had continued to form all the way around the pool edge over the years.

24. Algae Stains

Christopher in Townsville had several large algae stains in his pool that would not dissolve. He had spend $200 of useless treatments from the pool shop before calling us.

25. Algae Stains

Katrina in Melbourne has a glass bead pool with crystal clear water but with very bad algae staining on the surface. She was very sceptical about any product that claimed to remove heavy staining without draining the water.

26. Metal and Algae Staining

Our client Kim in Aspley, Queensland had very bad staining on her vinyl lined pool that even shock chlorination, stain treatments and scrubbing would not remove.

27. Heavy Copper Staining

Sue from Bayview in Sydney had very heavy copper staining in her swimming pool. The staining occurred when the copper and silver from an Enviroswim system, precipitated onto the pool surfaces while the water was out of balance.

28. Salt Staining on Fibreglass Pool

The manager from a local Narellan Pools branch was called out to a customer’s home to inspect heavy surface staining. While evaluating the stain, they applied our treatment compound to the pool to see if that would have any impact on the staining.

29. Algae Staining on Vinyl Pool

Colin from Sydney has a vinyl lined pool that had substantial staining on the walls. So, before adding our kit, he had tried two different stain removers, shock chlorination, algaecides and hard scrubbing. All these treatments made no difference to the staining whatsoever.

30. Rust Stain on Fibreglass Pool
