1. Heavy iron staining
Before treatment
This fibreglass pool has very heavy iron staining that has completely covered the surface of the pool. Before calling us, our client made multiple expensive attempts to remove this stain.
After treatment
Six days following our brown stain treatment was added, the pool now looks almost as good as new. They later removed the metals from the pool water to prevent the stain from coming back.
2.Copper staining in pebble pool
Before treatment
A new staff member at the pool shop told our client that they had algae and that he needed to shock the pool. Instead, what they actually had was a copper stain. This copper turned dark black when the client sprinkled granular chlorine over the pool steps. The chlorine oxidised the copper and turned the pool steps black within 30 minutes.
After treatment
Our treatment kit restored the original finish and colour of his pool within two days. The oxidised copper stains were completely gone and they also used our prevention liquid to stop the copper staining from coming back.
3. Iron staining in swimming pool
Before treatment
This 35-year-old fibreglass pool in Newcastle had significant iron fallout because the water was left stagnant for a few years with no filtration or care. These iron precipitated and left heavy staining on the walls and floor.
After treatment
Our brown stain treatment kit restored the finish and colour of his pool within 2 days. More than 80% of the staining was gone in the first hour of adding the kit. The client was amazed with the results.
4. Rust stains in fibreglass pool
Before treatment
This fibreglass pool had a metal ring fall on the step and sit there unnoticed for a period of time. The stain left behind was quite dark and stubborn. They tried a stain remover from the pool shop that did noting. After that failed, they were then very worried about their pool.
After treatment
After following the directions in our rust stain kit, this customer removed the stain almost overnight. Because they had tried so many things before, they were convinced that their pool was ruined, so they were thrilled with the results.
5. Copper in pool water
Before treatment
This pool in Northern NSW, had very heavy metal staining and a large volume of suspended copper and iron in the water. These metals were so concentrated that the water had turned black after chlorine was added.
After treatment
After the Culator treatment had been added to the pool, the water completely cleared in less than 30 hours. Culator is a permanent fix because the suspended metals are trapped and removed, so the problem can never return.
6. Copper and iron stains
Before treatment
This customer had a light blue epoxy pool that had a heavy copper and iron buildup. The annoying stain had been noticeable for 4 years. They could remove most of it with pool shop stain products, but as soon as they rebalanced the water, the stains came back.
After treatment
30 Minutes after our treatment process, the copper and iron were dissolved into the water and the original surface was restored. We also add a polymer compound to make sure the stains don’t return later. The client was thrilled that the stains did not come back after he rebalanced the pool water.
7. Black spot algae
Before treatment
Don’t drain your pool to fix Black Spot Algae. This Pebblecrete pool continued to battle black spot within the pebble surface for over a year. The client could remove some of them with a wire brush and chlorine, but within two weeks, they would return.
After treatment
The pool shop told her that it needed to be drained and acid washed to remove the black spot at a cost of nearly $1,400. Our $295 Black Spot treatment completely removed it and also kept it gone – something acid washing cannot do.
8. Green Algae Staining
Before treatment
This client had persistent green staining on their white tiles that looked like algae. It wouldn’t budge, even with chlorine and scrubbing with a wire brush. They tried for months to remove it, thinking they had green algae.
After treatment
But, after our algae stain treatment was added to the pool, the staining completely dissolved. This restored the white finish of the pool within 24 hours. Algae stains are completely different to living green algae. The treatment we use has no chlorine or algaecides because the green stain is not alive.
9. Purple copper cyanurate stains
Before treatment
This old fibreglass swimming pool had rare purple staining just below the coping tiles. It had been annoying the owner for over 4 years. Copper and mineral precipitation (with high CYA in the water) caused the staining.
After treatment
Our client had spent almost $1,500 trying various treatments to fix the stain. She even went to 3 different pool shops for advice. Our copper stain kit removed the stain in less than 2 hours. Meanwhile, this client is still very mad at her pool shop for all the wasted money as she is on a fixed income.
10. Copper stains
Before treatment
The copper sulfate staining on these pool steps could not be brushed away, even with a wire brush, or retail stain removers. Chlorine turns copper sulphate black, which is why the stains are so dark.
After treatment
It took less than 10 days for our copper stain kit to dissolve this stain once it was added to the pool. Our happy client sent us these before and after images. They were convinced that it could not be removed without draining the pool. They sent us these pictures showing the transformation.
11. Stain in pool from mineral salts
Before treatment
Our client added mineral salts to her swimming pool. Over the space of 2 hours, our she witnessed her pool transform from bright blue to shades of ugly brown. To try and fix it, she used a popular stain removal product from her local pool shop that actually made the stains even worse!
After treatment
She then treated the pool with our salt stain kit. To her surprise, less than 30 minutes after adding the treatment, almost all of the stains had completely disappeared. She was truly delighted to have her pool interior back to normal once again.
11a. Salt Stains In Pebble Pool
Before treatment
Our client was unlucky enough to get a heavily contaminated bag of pool salt from a large hardware store. The day after adding the salt, her pool looked terrible. Around 1 in every 1,000 bags of salt are heavily contaminated with stain causing minerals and metals.
After treatment

12. Metal stains in pool
Before treatment
Our client in Sydney had recently paid $16,000 to have his old pool resurfaced with new fibreglass coating. After a few weeks, strange brown shapes (which looks like shadows) appeared in his pool. The stain was caused by a poorly applied top coat, which was now attracting metal stains.
After treatment
He was delighted when the weird shapes disappeared within 3 weeks. The pool surface now looks as good as new, and he sent us these images showing the difference our treatment has made.
13. Pool Stains from mineral salts
Before treatment
Tim from WA mistakenly left a full bag of contaminated mineral salts to his pool steps. Although he had done this many times before, a few hours later, he was shocked to see that a huge brown stain appeared where the mineral salts had been left.
After treatment

14. Leaf stains in pool
Before treatment
This public swimming pool in regional NSW, had leaves sitting at the bottom for over 6 months. Even hard scrubbing with a metal brush and chlorine would not remove leaf staining.
After treatment
24 hours after our treatment process, the staining is completely removed along with the waterline scum from the pool surface. Our leaf stain treatment transformed the pool surface without draining 500,000 litres of water.
15. Rust stain in pool from nails
Before treatment
No, they’re not small sticks! A patio extension left literally hundreds of rusty nails scattered all over this 4-year-old Quartzon pool. These stains had embedded deep into the Quartzon pool surface.
After treatment
Our large rust stain treatment removed the rust stains in 5 days. The client was shocked—especially since his brother-in-law (who owned a pool shop for 10 years) told him he was wasting his money buying our kit!
16. Copper stains
Before treatment
Our customer Sue in Mildura had recurring copper and metal stains in her pool. After several costly and unsuccessful attempts to remove them, she decided to call us for some help.

17. Black spot algae
Before treatment
This client in Victoria had been battling black spot algae for more than 3 years. No matter what algaecide or process was followed, it always returned within 6 weeks. The recurring algae was also starting to stain the surface.
After treatment
Our black spot algae treatment removed the black spot completely and the prevention additives in our kit stopped it from coming back. Our very skeptical client even stored our phone number in his phone, ready to call us when they came back. They never did.
18. White Calcium on Fibreglass Pool
Before treatment
Robert from Tapping, WA had a hard white build-up on his 10 month old fibreglass pool that would not brush away. He had tried several products from the pool shop before calling us. He was very wary about our products because several pool ‘experts’ told him it was bleached and beyond repair.
After treatment
After applying our calcium treatment kit to the pool, the calcium had completely dissolved from the surface within 2 weeks. The treatment left the surface smooth and blue once again. He was very relieved.
18a. White Calcium on Fibreglass Pool
Before treatment
This client had his old concrete pool renovated and added a new fibreglass layer to the surface. After it was filled with water, a thin white film developed around the waterline. He purchased a calcium kit from us, hoping that this could remove it.
After treatment
After applying our calcium treatment kit to the pool, within a few weeks the calcium had completely dissolved from the surface, leaving it smooth and blue. He emailed us these pictures showing the difference.
19. Copper stains in vinyl pool
Before treatment
This vinyl lined pool had a very heavy copper precipitation covering the entire pool. This was caused by a malfunction in their ironizer system, which overdosed the pool with 6.5ppm of copper. Because the staining was so heavy, they were told they would need a new $5,500 liner.
After treatment
Within 3 weeks of applying our copper stain treatment kit, the copper had completely dissolved from this vinyl surface. In short, they restored the pool for less than $300 and didn’t need to drain the pool or buy a new liner.
20. Copper stains in Pebblecrete pool
Before treatment
This 10 year old Pebblecrete pool in Sydney had a very copper staining after the client used a copper based algaecide. The algaecide did clear the algae but it left copper sulphate staining on the surface
After treatment
In just two weeks, our copper stain treatment dissolved the stains, restoring the pool’s original color and look. The client was thrilled with the results.
21. Algae stains
Before treatment
Our algaecide treatment removed almost all of the recurring algae from this pool step in less than four hours. This client had been battling it for more than a year.
After treatment
No matter what the client tried, the algae kept returning within a few weeks. They were thrilled that after 5 months, the algae had still not returned. First time that the algae has stayed away.
22. Rust stain on fibreglass pool
Before treatment
This client had an old fibreglass pool that was stained for more than five years by metal objects. Despite their best efforts over the years, nothing they tried would remove the stain.
After treatment
Within 4 hours the rust stain kit had removed the staining, leaving only the slightest trace. The client was thrilled with the result because the stain had been there for so long.
23. Calcium build up
Before treatment
This hard calcium build-up had been present for 5 years in this concrete pool. The calcium stains had continued to form all the way around the pool edge over the years.
After treatment
Following our calcium treatment process, the tiles now look as good as new. Our client was very pleased with the results and sent us these before and after images. Also, we treated the water to prevent the calcium from coming back.
24. Algae Stains
Before treatment

25. Algae Stains
Before treatment

26. Copper stains on vinyl pool

Our client in Aspley, Queensland had very bad staining on her vinyl-lined pool. She had tried shock chlorination, scrubbing, pool shop stain treatments, and vitamin C tablets. Nothing made any difference.
After treatment

27. Heavy Copper Staining
Before treatment
Sue from Sydney had very heavy copper staining in her swimming pool. The staining occurred when excess copper and silver from an Enviroswim system precipitated onto the pool surfaces while the water was out of balance.
After treatment

28. Salt Staining on Fibreglass Pool
Before treatment
The manager from a local Narellan Pools branch was called out to a customer’s home to inspect heavy surface staining. While evaluating the stain, they applied our treatment compound to the pool to see if that would have any impact on the staining.
After treatment

29. Algae Staining on Vinyl Pool
Before treatment

31. Rust Stain on Fibreglass Pool
Before treatment
A pool technician with 30 years of experience who had never used our products before was forced by his client to try our kit. The pool had metal cut over the top of the steps, which left a heavily stained fibreglass pool. 33. Iron stain on fibreglass Pool

This customer’s home had been rented out for a couple of years, and during that time, the pool was topped up with bore water and cheap pool salt. 34. Heavily stained fibreglass Pool
